Privacy & recovery

Privacy and your data

On your Mac. Under your control. No accounts, app uploads or tracking. A private, focused place for your most important work.

These steps refer to controls inside the Mac app, not this website. Guide source: 1.0.0 (128).

  1. What is stored locally

Projects, stages, components, tasks, time, financial records, campaign counters, risks, notes, comments, activity, saved filters, settings and file references stay on your Mac. Timer recovery and interface preferences are local too. Project documents remain in your selected folders. The app does not collect or transmit these records to a developer-operated service.

  2. Keep documents strictly on-device

Choose an ordinary local folder that is not managed by iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or another sync service. Avoid network-mounted folders if you need files to remain on this device. Check your macOS Desktop and Documents sync settings before choosing those locations. The app has no network client or server entitlement and no upload or cloud-sync feature, but cannot prevent macOS, other apps or storage services from syncing folders you select. Opening a website, emailing support or sharing an export is your separate action.

  3. Folder permissions

The app accesses workspace folders and files you select and retains permitted access through macOS security-scoped bookmarks. External attachments can have separate permissions when you select them explicitly. You can choose a different workspace and manage permissions in macOS. Changing the workspace does not move or erase existing files. Access remains subject to the app’s sandbox and the permissions you grant.

  4. Notifications and exports

With permission, local notifications may display project or task names according to macOS preview and lock-screen settings. Automatic metadata backups remain local. Backups and CSV/PDF exports can contain sensitive project, time and financial data; destinations you select, including third-party-synced folders, are governed by those services’ settings. Exports are not encrypted by this app.

  5. No accounts, tracking or advertising services

This version includes no account system, advertising SDK, behavioral analytics, remote crash reporting, cloud synchronization or direct social/advertising API connections. It does not sell your data or track you across apps and websites. Apple, macOS, your email provider and any external storage or distribution service have their own privacy practices.

  6. Your choices and retention

You can change preferences, disable notifications, export backups, archive projects and delete app records. Ordinary deletions remain recoverable for 30 days before metadata cleanup. Delete Permanently in Archive & Recovery bypasses that window after exact-name confirmation. Project folders, exported documents and existing backups are kept; restoring an older backup can bring records back. Manage those copies separately. Privacy questions can be sent to support@ipcl.tech; contacting support shares only the information you choose to send.
