Inbox and macOS notifications — Project Command Centre

Enable only the reminders you need
Open Settings → Notifications. Choose Enable Notifications and respond to macOS’s permission prompt. Review the rule toggles for task deadlines, stage deadlines, budget warnings, time targets and timer safeguards. Rule changes also affect the in-app Inbox.
Use the Inbox
Select Inbox in the sidebar to review current attention items. Open an item to inspect its relevant project or task, then correct the underlying dates, status, budget or time entry as needed. Inbox works offline and remains available when macOS notifications are denied.
Troubleshoot delivery
If reminders are missing, check System Settings → Notifications → Project Command Centre, then Focus settings and the rule’s app toggle. The system controls banner style and whether notifications appear. If the app displays a scheduling error, use Retry rather than repeatedly changing the underlying project.
Protect notification text
Notification text may contain project or task names. Adjust previews and lock-screen delivery in macOS if the Mac is shared or used in public. Notifications are local reminders on this Mac; they are not emails or messages to the task’s assignee.
