Preferences and reusable templates

Configure workspace access, future project defaults, appearance, notifications and folder templates.

These steps refer to controls inside the Mac app, not this website. Guide source: 1.0.0 (128).

  1. Open Settings

Choose Project Command Centre → Settings… or press ⌘,. Review the current workspace path. Open in Finder shows the selected root; Choose Folder… changes the permission and root association without moving existing folders.

  2. Set work and commercial defaults

Enter a supported three-letter currency, non-negative hourly rate, daily time target and at least one workday. These settings inform future projects and time/utilization views. Click Save Settings and check for Saved or a validation message.

  3. Edit templates carefully

Enter one default stage per line and one relative project-folder path per line. Save Settings for new projects. To create missing template folders in existing projects, choose Preview Changes for Existing Projects…, inspect the diff and apply it only if correct. Applying this diff creates missing folders and never moves or deletes content.

  4. Choose appearance and reminders

Use the Theme control for System, Light or Dark. Appearance updates immediately. Notification rules have their own toggles. Project defaults and template text use Save Settings; do not assume every control follows the same save behavior.
