Choose the reporting period
Open Reports in the sidebar. Set From and To; the range is inclusive and limited to ten years. Wait until preparation completes. Time and utilization use that date range. Finance and campaign figures remain lifetime totals because their budgets and counters are lifetime values.
Choose the export that answers your question
Timesheet CSV contains individual time rows; Summary CSV totals time by project. Finance CSV includes budgets, costs, forecasts and income. Campaign CSV includes manual counters and derived ratios. Utilization CSV compares weekly logged time with your configured workday target.
Save and verify the document
Click the export button, choose a filename and destination in the macOS save panel, and confirm. Open the resulting file to verify its dates, currency and totals. CSV can be opened in spreadsheet applications; the app does not generate native .xlsx workbooks.
Preview a colourful PDF
Choose Preview Summary PDF for the portfolio overview or Preview Charts PDF for diagrams and complete chart data. File → Print (⌘P) from Reports also opens the summary preview. Use Next Page, Previous Page, Zoom In, Zoom Out and Fit Page to inspect every page. Diagrams follow the cover; complete data tables follow the diagrams. Portfolio reports exclude archived projects.
Personalise and save the report
The PDF cover includes the app image. Choose Add Cover Image… to replace it with a local PNG, JPEG, HEIC or TIFF smaller than 20 MB. Remove Image creates an image-free cover. The image applies only to this preview, is embedded in saved PDFs and does not modify your project. Choose Save PDF… and select a destination. The small website link in the footer opens the product website only when clicked.
Print deliberately
Inside PDF Preview, choose Print… or press ⌘P. Select your printer, paper, pages and copies in the standard macOS print panel, then confirm Print. Cancel submits nothing. You can also use the panel’s PDF menu. Choosing a network or cloud-enabled printer transfers the report through the macOS printing system to that destination; use a directly connected local printer when you require on-device control. No physical printer is needed to preview or save a PDF.
Explore circle and diagram reports
In Reports, scroll to Visual reports. Task status, project health and cost breakdown use donut charts; enable Pie circles for solid circles. Time by project and progress use horizontal bars, budget versus actual uses grouped bars, and weekly time uses a line chart. Finance charts are separate for each currency. Task status and health show current state, not historical completion or health trends. Subtasks count as tasks.
Inspect exact values and source records
Click a circle segment or its labelled button, select a bar or week, or choose View Data. The data sheet includes exact base-unit values and links to the relevant project, task, Time tab or Finance tab. The weekly target is calculated from your configured workdays and daily target, not a project-specific allocation. Ranked charts display at most ten projects; View Data and exports retain all projects.
Control report animation and export chart data
Enable Animate for a brief chart reveal and choose Replay to see it again. There is no continuous looping animation. macOS Reduce Motion disables animation. Chart Data CSV exports all categories in integer minutes, cents, counts or basis points. PDF reports contain static colour diagrams and complete source tables, not animations. Choose a local destination, verify the exported values, and share only if intended.
